About my Datsun 240z project.
My interest in the marquee began approx 4 years ago. Since then I have owned two 240z’s (wish I never sold the first one mind you) and a 260z 2+2. My current zed is a 1972 Datsun 240z with an early build date could have almost been a 71 or series 1 Zcar.
The goal of the project is to make all modifications in a tasteful and period correct fashion. All modifications should be done in a reversable manner allowing the car to be returned to original specification if I choose to at some stage down the track.
The current modifications are minor but I feel they are tasteful and are definately easily reversed. I managed to rescue the original engine block from being lost forever from the previous owner. The car is currently fitted with a 280z, 280zx engine known as the L28.
You can view pictures of my 240z in the viczcar gallery. If you are just browsing the site feel free to sign up and participate in our friendly community of zcar owners.
